INDD-server-CC-2015-test-10:~ root# cd /Applications/Adobe\ InDesign\ CC\ Server\ 2015/ I do not think the fact that it's running in a Fusion VM differs since it works when I log in as root. I'm running it on a Mac with OS X 10.10.5 (currently in a Fusion VM). The users where able to set permissions in many different ways and when the workflows where designed the only way we found at the time to get rid of all problems where to run the InDesign server CS6 as root. We have a lot of workflows with InDesign Server CS6 running as root. ![]() And you do not normally want to be logged in as root. The reason for me wanting it to be started as root via sudo is that we have encountered file permission problems in the past (users giving wrong permissions to documents that later shall be processed by the server). It works fine if I'm starting it as the logged in user (named admin) or if I log in as root and then start it. I tried using "mand" instead and with one or two parameters ("-port 8090", "-previews") without any success. The application with bundle ID is running setugid(), which is not allowed. When I try to start InDesign CC Server 2015 as root via sudo, it fails to start with the following error message in the console: I can't find anything that documents the aid or aid5 namespaces.(I previously posted this in the InDesign forum) Is there documentation anywhere that lists the valid attributes that can be used with these namespaces? I've looked in the online InDesign User Guide, the InDesign Developer Documentation, and on various forums. ![]() I've guessed at both aid:objectstyle and aid5:objectstyle, but neither of these appear to be valid. I'd like to do something similar, such as aid5:objectstyle, to specify the object style to associate with the graphics frame. Is there anyway to assign which object style is used for that graphics frame.įor example, when tables are imported, I can use the aid5:tablestyle attribute to specify which table style to use. I found discussions on the tables and on 'pstyle', but are there other attributes available? Is there an attribute for assigning object style names? When an image is imported, it is automatically placed inside a graphics frame. I'm looking for valid attribute values for these namespaces. I have found discussions here and there, but I cannot find any Adobe documentation that details the aid and aid5 namespaces. ![]()
